1999 is the least troubled 140 series, if you can afford the gas get the S500 its got great power and for the top end the S600 would be the best choice (V12). take notice on the engine harness, these cars come with engine harness that don't even last 5 years specially on sub zero and extreme hot climates.

Best to you in searching. IMHO, one would have to decide what one expects out of the car in the way of performance. If you are just looking to show the vehicle, then it really doesn't matter which model you purchase. If you're looking for performance, then you may want to deal with the S600 -- but it can be really cost intensive -- and a shock on your pockets, if you don't have a lot of money. Otherwise, IMO, the S420 may serve your expectations well. Just my opinion.

So basically you are trying to find a good piece of advice let me share my experience I recently bought a car Mercedes S-Class AMG S 65 the design of the car is Sedan and if you want to show off and also find good performance car then I suggest you buy this car with only Lease $3429 Month I think this is a golden opportunity for you.
