Default newbie here, need help

Hello fellow mercedes members, so I'm new here..

I have some quick questions and maybe you can help.

I have an 02 s430, just got the brake sensor warning on the display a few days ago and was seeing from your experience how hard of a job this is, hoping one of you can lead me in the way of a proper guide, and what items i needed..

Also for the last few months, every morning i pull out of my driveway the brakes squeal like a ****, is this common and what can i do to stop it?(hopefully just new pads?)
And what kind of brake pads do you guys suggest to use?

Plus, i was looking under the car for jack stand points and it seems like everything is covered with a plastic cover, do i have to take these pieces off in order to find the points?

btw i used the search bar and didn't find any step by step diys which led me to ask.

Thanks mates, hope you guys can help!

brakes are easy to do on these cars make sure you dont need rotors ie get them measured

sounds like break squeal when you replace pads and or rotors MAKE SURE YOU BUY THE PARTS FROM THE DEALER. this dosent mean from some place that says there pads are just as good BECAUSE THERE REALLY NOT

no need to remove the panels find the ruber bumper in the owners manuel and you jack from them

btw i used the search bar and didn't find any step by step diys which led me to ask.

thanks

the jack points are not covered by plastic but plastic does surround the area where the points are. most likely the rubber lift pads are broken off and can be purchased at the dealer. they just push up in. might need a hammer to bang them in place. if you look under the car youll see the installation points for the lift pads.
