Exclamation Comand System Unavaliable??

After a short trip Nyc to NJ the next day after turning on radio system says unavilable.
The system is on but no Radio nav or sound I am fustrated at the moment this is the second problem with the comand system in about 12 months after replacement of first system Should I just replace the whole system what about the fiber-optic nonsense? I might just cash in after 4 years of owning a s430 4matic its time to cut my losses nice ride one of the best but too damm expensive and problematic issues I have owned two ls lexus and never had so many problems and tons of driving my wifes volvo is a 2002 and she never hardly has any issues any suggestions 2004 S430 with 90,250 miles( I was also looking at those fancy touch screen Avic radio systems any one familair )

to be honest we cant tell you anything without hooking your car to a star machine. as for the fiber optics that is how the comand center,cd player, phone, voice control, share info ie voice comands. but without the computer hooked to it nobody will be able to tell you anything. sounds like you need to go to the dealer
