Default LOW DISTANCE ON REMOTE

Hello Everyone,
I have a slight problem with my 2004 S430. My remote does not function from a long distance. I can only open/close doors when i point laser at the door. ITS NOT a battery since i just programmed a new key.

Can someone please tell me where the antenna for a remote is located? Thanks[/align]

Does the remote work better from any side of the car? I know of a problem with the w203 C-class. The car uses several censors or Sam (or sim not sure which) units. When this happened to the car I know, The remote would not work when stading far awayin the areathat was covered by the offendingunit, it worked close upin that areaas it was using another sensorthat covered another part of the car. This was caused by a blow fuse so check the usepannels and get it on diagnosticsto see if there is a fault with one of thesim units.
good luck and nice car, I am thinking of buying one haveyou had many problems withtthe car?
