Default distance between service A and B

Hi all...
I just finished my service A and i reset the service miles from the cluster following the steps in the manual.. Anyway, when i reset the miles it said service B after 15,000km...
My question is, wouldn't the next service be depending on my driving style and engine performance...etc... (the ASSYST thingy)

Thanx for the input

How did you reset the service miles? In what manual did you find the the instructions ?

My 2001 C240 always get 12,000 mi between service As. I guess the conditions under which I drive are not extreme and do not cause it to come up sooner. I have about 63000 mi now and it says it needs both A and B in about 3000 mi.

although it can recognize the oil replenishment and time, the service still calculates from mileage.

we can adjust the factor on instrument cluster to lower or extend the service mileage... and how many remaining miles the warning light should remind you.

on poor road conditions, i set them to 8K km.

hi... thanx for replying... but hey... i didn't understand a thing!!! LOL..
tabourj, u meant 12000mi between service A and service B??? thats too much... even if u leave ur car parked it won' take u that long... well thats very good and economical too...heheh
Well this is my first service A which was about 43,400km according to the calculation... but now it says service B after 15,000km... looks like its a fixed distance now... no calculation made for necessary service, nothing..
