Default looking to purchase S550 / 2013-2014

Hi all ,
I am looking to purchase S550 2013 or 2014 , I had been BMW for a long time but now looking to jump boat .

Have anyone running into any issue with engine or anything that I need to know before I enter into Mercedes world.

thanks,

Try to read reviews so that you can be informed about your car. I'm just a new Mercedes Benz user, and I am driving the latest AMG 65 S Class. So far, I love driving it!

Hello and welcome to the forum! One of the most important things you can do before purchasing and something that we highly recommend is to get a full PPI report done by a certified, independent MB mechanic. This will give you a definitive answer as to if the car had/has any issues - the mechanic will also go through any problematic areas in general. Hope this helps and best of luck on the future purchase.

Yeah, it's very model dependent. As I see you are interested in S550 and it's really great car, although except for my friend from DSRLeasing who owned it for a year I can't give you much details on that as it's rather not to popular car, but from what I've heard brake pads and rotors may wear after 20k miles - pretty often I guess and ABS Modulator tends to fail due to dirty brake fluid.
