Now do anyone know the difference between the W126 560SEL euro exhaust system and the american version and the AMG version. Soon eventually, in a winter or two, the exhaust system may need patching up but since that place is going to be worked on, I figured might as well upgrade if I can but I believe that an exhaust system is not just about sticking any old metal pipes under ya car. First, and foremost, I still want it to sound like a Mercedes and not some "lawnmower" rice burner nor a 60s/70s era 442 heard from a eight miles away muscle car. But I do want to unleash this 5.6 a little only if possible. But if it is not, no prob, it's fine the way it is. I just like to know my options.

And by the way, I'm back from Italy but my computer is still dead until the first of Feb.

 

Well i have 151k and it is forsale but thats cause now i want another Diesel. But i am glad to here it will run that long!

Hey do u know if ur timing chain has been replaced?

Not sure about the exhaust but i am sure u can free up some power without making it sound un-mercedesish
