FYI to all. I just received a note from MB that the original warranty on the instrument cluster has been extended to 10 years, regardless of miles or transfers. Covers 2000-2006 Models.

 

yup, got the letter today.

 

Hey, where is my letter? Great info to know. Mine went out on the way to wallys for about 10min and has been fine ever since. Glad I did not pay for a repair.

 

Is that for all models? Hard to believe.

Covers all S Class 2000-2006 regardless of title/ownership transfers.

Well if they are going to warrant everything that normally goes wrong with them maybe i would let myself get one.
