Well, I just put a new battery into my dads 1998 s320, and now the windows dont go up or down in one push. Wondering if anyone can tell me how to set them so i can push them one time for them to move up or down. I lost my manual to. Thanks

 

move it all the way down.

press up button (first position) till it reach the stop, and keep on pressing for another 5 seconds.

 

Thanks should i do this when i turn the car on or juss to the 2nd spot?

 

with ignition "on" or engine running.

if it doesn't work, then the hall effect position sensor or it's wiring can cause the problem.
