Default help with power assist door and trunck closing an

I purchased a 2001 s430 from a lexus dealer. the right reflector lamp check indicator was on when I purchased the car and they said they would fix it. Thelexus dealer tried to replace the bulb in the backturn signal with a lexus bulb and not a mercedes bulb. The bulb worked but did not fix the reflector lamp indicator ( whichnow I know is the mirror turn signal)I told them to put the mercedes bulb back in since it wasalways working. Now the truck or any door power assist willnot work. They were all working just before the bulb changes.P.S. the lexus repair shop also tried to fix the truck bytaking the cover off of the closing mechnism and tighting what appeared to be loose. That's when all the doors stopped using the power assist closing. Someone please lead me in the right direction for fixing this problem

yo have to check your air pump located on the rear right panel inside the trunk lining and see if the pump is working, another way to diagnose it is to take out the fuse also located in the trunk, take it out and place back, it will reset.

there is a fuse box in the backseat under the passenger side where the interior light is located. pop that off and there are fuses and relays in there.. not sure on your car but alot of the S classes have a 20 amp fuse #62 that controls the central locking or closing asist pump. check your fuse chart..should be in the spare tire tool kit and find the fuse for central locks or close assist and pull the fuse for a few seconds than put it back in. than that resets the pump and it should work for a while. its shutting off cause the pump senses a high air demand and thus shuts off that branch to keep the pump from heating up. could be a broken air line or a bad diaphram in the door or trunk.
