Default Heater valve

I have a problem with heating in my S500 1996. It blows only cold air on the driver's side. Passenger side works well. I guess it could be heater control valve, but I don't know where it's located. Any help would be appreciated in this cold weather.

Default RE: Heater valve

Is that the Silver Bullet/Cylinder looking things in the engine compartment under the plastic cover left side (wheel-well)? They look like a group of cylinders together. It's a rather expensive part! But if you need it, you need it. But could it be a problem with the temp control unit?

Thanks for your reply. It could be the temp control. I'm not sure. I'm hoping that it's something simple that I can fix myself, instead of taking it down to the garage.
