I want to order those halogen projector upgrades. I have a 2001 S430. Ive heard so many different opinions re the non oem lights vs Oem. What is the real deal? And, what is auto leveling. I'm told the non OEM light are non auto leveling. What is this. Might be a dumb question but I don't know. Can you help me?

 

The real deal is that aftermarket's beam pattern cannot be matched against OEM's beam pattern even though the appearance is very similar. Otherwise, there wouldn't be such a big price difference. If your car is not equipped with xenon lights from factory, you will lose auto-leveling feature with both aftermarket and OEM headlamps.

I dont have the auto-leveling feature in my 01 s430. So no loss there. Do you carry halogen projectors for this car? If you do,are the low beam/Hi beam bulbs H7 bulbs.

Also, Do your depo projectors require any re-programming of the computer. Are they plug and play?

 

Low-beam is Philips D1S 4300K and high-beam is H7.
