Regarding the 1999 w220, if the car dated before Nov 1999, then this software is not compatible and there is another version needed which I can send by Email.

Hello Mike: I just went to the geocities.com web-site. In the instructions, it says this software update is ONLY for EUROPEAN Comands and will not work on US Comands. My car is a US model. Do you know of a software update that applies to US models? Thank you. Napoleon

 

You can purchase the software from dealership, in UK it is £4 +VAT(~ $7)

I am not sure about the part number, all I can say is , Command Firmware MY01 by Bosch
