A/C issues 2004 S430
I recently bought a clean, relatively low mileage (for its age) 2004 S430. The A/C has not worked since I bought it about a week ago, and initially the AC off light would not turn off. I then read the Codes, and I only had one, which was "KLA v 1269" I cleared the codes, and was able to turn the a/c on, BUT, nothing comes out of the vents. There were no codes initially after I cleared the one that it had.
I let the car sit a day, then came back and was still able to turn the a/c on, but same thing, nothing coming out of the vents. First I got no codes when checked, then tried again and got codes 1267, 1268, 1269, 1270 & 1271, All these codes seem to relate to A/C Bus? Not really sure what that means, or what to check next.
