95 S320: Looking For Maintenance Advice
Hello,
I am the new owner of a 1995 S320 w/ 103K miles.
The car was maintained by the owner and he says that it is excellent conditions. The owner was my gf's father, so I have to trust him.
Is there a 100K checkup the Mercedes offers? The owner also mentioned that the car burns oil very quickly. He told me to put in a quart every week, Is this necessary?
Anything else I should get checked out when I pick it up this weekend?
Thanks

Probably a B service is what the car requires. new spark plugs, change engine oil and brake fluid. do you have the count down service indicator on the insturment cluster? I have a 99 C280 and it has the FSS system, which, to me, is a pain, as you can go as much as 10K miles between oil changes or as little as 5K miles according to your driving etc. I change my oil myself every 4K with 0/30W Mobil One. If you car doesn't have the countdown aka FSS feature, just figure big $$ for service at 100K miles
