Default 420SEL intermittent stalling....

I just went out for a short three mile trip in the 420 tonight, and I noticed when I was backing out of the garage, that I was getting a sputter while in reverse. Finally it kicked in and the car flew backwards after the hesitation, and then things were normal for the next mile. I took a left turn onto a major road and the car just cut off when I stepped on the gas while turning. It started right back up afterwards, and I continued on my journey. It did not happen again, even on turns when accelerating, where I tried to get it to happen.

I had this same problem in my old 380SE, and it ended up being the fuel injectors. Anyone have any good advice?

the ABS light still "ON"?

it could be among these:

*crankshaft position sensor
*ignition timing system (EZL)
*electrical connections on ignition coil
*sockets in plug of fuel pump relay or overvoltage protection relay

or any of those components mentioned.

Thanks for the pointers. I notice that the SRS light is on longer than any of the other lights, but it eventually goes off after 10-15 seconds. Im going to troubleshoot as soon as I get the workshop CD for it, so I know what Im working with.
