Hello ,i have my friend's car with a problem the shifter lever won't go out of parking unless you pull really really hard on the lever ,seem like something its getting stuck on the shifter lever housing .....??????????? anybody experienced same problem ...????

 

ESM or electronic shift module faulty.

the pin solenoid doesn't move.

replace the whole shift module.

yes, you need to activate the new one in order to shift it.

let the dealer replace it.
