Default 2000 S500 Air Suspension - Leaking Please Help

Hi,
I am a new member as well, and i was reading up all all of your comments regarding the air suspension. I have a similar problem with my suspension. It airs up fine, but does not stay aired up, which obviously i have an air leak. I believe I have tracked it down to the top of the struts (which i noticed was mentioned in one of the posts) My question is can just the top of that be replaced or does the whole strut have to be replaced?
Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I reposted this because after reading i saw pics with the exact same problem as mine, the top of the struts were cracked, so what is the least inexpensive solution?

there is a repair kit for the top of the struts available at the dealer but you need a special tool to replace them and possibly benz computer depending.

Default Leaking air shocks.

I believe there is a aftermarket kit available for the shocks that takes care of the leak .
it's under $150. Check with your local mercedes mechanic, not the dealer.
