hi guys,
i noticed that i have a microphone on the ceiling by my rear view mirror. no doubt for a cell phone...
anyone have any idea where the other end, the plug end might be ?
i looked in the center console storage area, and i did not see anything.

Original MB after market installation kit was fitted on the side of the centre console to the side of the passengers knees. This is where i would expect to find it.
Presumably the installation was LH/RH dependent upon market.
The factory fitted installation would have ended up in the compartment between the front seats.
