Default 1997 S420 ingnition problem
Very infrequently when you turn the key you get absolutely nothing. No click of the solenoid or anything. Eventually with enough try's (taking the key in and out, locking/unlocking the car, etc) it will start normally and not happen again for weeks. I have had the electrical portion of the ignition switch replaced along with the key reader. Any ideas.

Neutral safety switch maybe? Next time it happens, shift to neutral and attempt starting it.
