Default 1997 S420 blower regulator

before we go there, i spent the past hours researching the many excellent posts on this topic and even found the great one with pictures and clear explanation.

new question:

1. the OEM BEHR part new is $200 on e-bay
2. the other part mentioned in the thread was KAEHLER which is $180 on e-bay also new.

OEM seems to win here, agree?

second question:

is it also important to go with the OEM air filter at the same time?

thanks...Marc

Default Answer

There is no difference in durability life.

I replace it with
MB# 1408218351
or
MB# 1408218451
as they are lower cost, and do not require changing the blower or cover/panel.
