How do I get too the blower motor on an 86' 420 SEL? I need to change the blower motor regulator, which I was told to be under the blower motor. I tried getting to it from under the hood. I removed the screen panel, and I could see the blower fan on the passenger’s side, through a cut out in the metal shielding. I did not see any way of actually getting to the blower motor through the metal plate. I then tried to go through the glove box. Once the glove box was removed all I saw was duct flaps. If anyone has changed the blower or regulator on a 420 SEL please tell me how you did it.

 

on right side under hood take off panel 5 6 screws once off that out a/c filter and its right there on top of blower motor...
