I recently purchased an assenmacher diagnostic scan tool. A 38 pin multiplexer connector (purchased seperately) is used with the diagnostic tool. In the process of hooking up the tool i noticed my 95 S600 didnt have the circular 38-pin socket but a 36-pin long retangular socket...now again this is a euro version. i am confused between the american and euro versions...i feel like i have wasted my money on the assenmacher someone referred me to buy...my WIS ASRA repair manuel doesn't even make mention of this socket...now i am trying to find out who makes an adapter for the 36-pin socket...or can someone steer me in the right direction in finding out more information on this particular socket.

 

You need to get an adaptor, all plugs of mercedes benz are identical whether euro or US
