Default 1989 300 SE

Hi, this is my first post about a car I have had 5 years and paid too much for, but must keep running. It does run fine but NO HEAT. HELP; I' m freezing!

I think i know ur problem it needs what is called a mono-valve a 50 dollar part that takes a shop an hour to put in. They fail often in the W126 i have had them replaced in both of mine and then the heat blows hot.

AMG-Heating element? Do you not know how these car's heaters work?

where is the mono valve, and can i test it?

my 500 blows hot air on defrost, and just air in all other settings.

Alex what year do u have? Also if u have hot air and some point then it isnt the mono valve from what i understand.
