Hello,
I need some guides or someone to explain to me how to remove the rear seats on a 1989 Mercedes 300 SE sedan because I need to gain access to the factory amps which are located behind the backrests.

I removed bench seat but I still need to figure out to remove the backrests on my car.

Well the bottom comes out by the two orange colored tabs (this part is in the owners manual). And the back is removed by taking out the headrests. and at the bottom left and right corners there are to bolts to remove. There may be one in the center but i cant remember. Then just left the seat upward and it comes right out.

This is for non-powered and non-heated seats. It is also based on knowledge of an 86 300sdl but they should be the same.
