Default 117 series v8 questions

hi

im about to rebuild my 117 series 500sel engine, and want to put some more power into it.

im wondering if anyone knows wheather the crank an cams from a 117 series 560 will fit my block, or a 117 420 block that i have. if im thinking correctly, the real difference in displacement between the three was all in bore and stroke, but i cant find the specs on it.

if anyone knows, it would be very helpful. thanks

alex

I just saw this but i think the 420 had a 116 block. But as far as the 500 and 560 go not to sure.

the difference between 116 blocks and 117 blocks are 116 blocks are 380 and 500. 117 blocks are 420 and 560.
dont try to get more power out of your motor its really no worth it. especially if your car is only worth about 3k. go buy a e55
