Default service indicator

Hi,

Recently purcased a R350 with 16K miles...I saw the post on how to reset the service indicator and would like to get some clarification.

1) What should the position of the ignition be in 1 or 2 ?
2) When the author of the procedure mentioned using the " right side buttons to confirmation" was he reffering to the +/- steering wheel controls on the right side of the steering wheel ?
3) And the last step was to use the "left page button to confirm" again reffering to the left bottom page button on the steering wheel ??

Sorry for bringing this question up again sounds pretty obvious just wanted to be sure...
