I guess I am not the only one having a power steering problem with this M320. I had my steering locked up before when luckly under warranty, so that I got it fixed and was told that they had recall on that PS hose clamp or something. (am I right?) Anyway, as I was searching this forum, I am having a same problem that makes whining noise when turning especailly when engine is cold. It goes away when it gets warmer. I notice from this forum that refilling PS fluid helps, so that I got the PS fluid. But I don't know where to put it![&:]
There are number of caps under the hood and I know where coolant, engine oil, brake fluid and washer fluids goes, but I am not sure about PS pump. I know where the PS pump is, and there is one cap above it (I think it is next to oil filter?). Is that it? I wanted to make sure before I put anything in there.
