I recently had a MB dealership replace the carpet in my ML350 (due to spilling something on it). They did a terrible job. Took it back today and they fixed the mess under the front seat (they had broken BOTH the caps that go over the seat bolts and I guess they didn't think I would notice), however, there is still a small "hole" just under the edge of the center console on the drivers side (front seat). Photo is attached. They said the carpet comes all pre-cut (OEM carpeting) and there is no way they can push the carpet up any further so that hole doesn't show. All I know is my old carpet did NOT have a hole there. I want this fixed but really do not want to have to have the entire thing replaced by them again. Any suggestions? I looked online and I do not see any type of hole like this in the photos or diagrams. Did they just not position it correctly?
