Just bought 2010 350 Bluetec. It came with running boards, which I didn't want. Dealer quoted $1700 to remove - according to him, once running boards are removed need to add rocker panels and paint to body color. Does anyone know if this is accurrate?

 

Many of the newer ML's are comming from the factory with the running boards installed. Look at the window sticker if it is on the window sticker it came from the factory. If you did not want them you would have to have the dealer locate one with out them.
