Hello all, my 2000 ml320 . Spitting out codes p0748 p0300 302 304 308. Stuck in second gear. Also woke up to a deadish battery. Also hard to shift into reverse and drive without a joke

 

Me as well. After some educated shade tree mechanic. Diagnosis. I removed the shifting unit completely and upon taking it apart I found two wires that lead by themselves to a small solenoid that once activated I believe it allows the car to be taken out of park. Now those wires were both bare as in absolutely no sheathing at all . They were lying on top of each other. I'm hoping that was it. I'm putting it all back together and see where I'm at. Stay tuned. Sorry what I did with the 2 wires is used liquid tape.
