I have a 2001 ML430. I was driving and had to accelerate quickly, CEL starting flashing and there was no acceleration power. Eased up on gas pedal and car slowly returned to normal with normal acceleration and check engine light on, but not flashing. Now I can not do any fast acceleration or this happens. (Also now has slight shake when idling at stoplight so).Took in for codes, these were the codes: p0304, p0170, p0303, p0300, p0302, and p0173. Had a friend look at it and they said to replace fuel pump, was looking to get some advise from the forum. Currently unemployed and would hate to just throw money at the wrong problem.
