Default ML350 Question

I am considering purchasing a 2008 ML 350 from a dealer. The car fax states that the engine/powertrain computer/module checked at 26,348 miles and the battery was replaced. What exactly does this mean on the car fax? Will this car be nothing but possible headaches down the road? Isn't it odd to have replaced the battery at only 26,000 miles? Thank you for all of your help.

I would agree that replacing the battery at 26K is odd. Not sure what the car fax means regarding the engine/powertrain computer moodule means. The dealer should be able to give you the details. I owned an 06 ML 350 and currently have an 09. No issues with the 06. It was a lease and when the lease ended I leased the 09. The only issue with the 09 was 2 months after I took delivery the lower radiator hose sprung a pin hole sized leak. Dealer said it was a defect in the hose. No problems since then. I am planning on getting a 2013 when my current lease ends. Bottom line is I do not believe you will have issues with the vehicle. A friend of mine had a battery replaced on his S550 after 12K. Battery was defective.

Good luck

Mark
