ML270 Head scratcher!
Hi all!
I have a 2000 ML270, my issues don't seem to fit any other posts.... EPC light is on all the time but there are no fuelling issues or air in the lines, the car runs very well! When I start the car from cold or first turn of the key when warm it is then in limp mode, ignition on and off 3 times and the car runs perfectly all day long until you stop and then start once.. back into limp and the cruise stops work? Sometimes the car runs OK but the cruise doesn't work?
I have replaced all the fuel lines, checked injector harnesses, clean EGR valve, checked vacuum pipes etc and serviced the car. It runs spot on except for the limp mode on first start?
Any ideas? All the posts are about cars going into limp when warm, at speed or just not coming out of limp. I think the AAM is a bit screwed as I have no remote locking, tried reset and it only holds memory for one push of the fob! Service interval display also only holds memory until the next time the ignition is switched on and then counts down the days over service... at -78 days from service? Would be grateful for some pointers other than, replace turbo, fuel pump or set fire to the car. Lovely car, love driving it, goes like the clappers... did try and see if it had a remap which might explain the EPC light and limp mode.
