Hi, I’m a newbie and I don’t know anything about Mercedes cars and desperate for help
I’m watching my neighbors ML 250 Mercedes suv while they are away.
Today I went over to start the car and charge the battery but the car remote would not open the doors. Keep in mind that you can’t open the car doors with a key. There are no key tumblers and you can only open with the car remote.
I changed and tested the car remote battery and I still can’t get the doors to open. I realized that the car battery is dead and that’s the reason why I can’t get in with the remote.
I tried pull the hood latch from the outside and it didn’t do anything. I’m guess you need to open the hood from the inside only.
How can I get into the ML 250 so I charge the battery and get back to normal?
Is there a way to get in the car with a dead battery?
Need help here.

use the blade in the remote. should be a key hole on the drivers door. might have a black plug covering the key hole. you might have to insert the key into the lock then turn the key and pull the handle to open door. all cars have an actual tumbler lock to get in the car.
