Hi my 2006 ml350 has a red battery light come on and go off . I replaced it after I couldn’t start it and jumped it and it worked . It was fine for a day after replacing and then today it came back on again .

I also have esp / abs lights coming and going as well .

voltage shows 12.6 when off and 13.9 when I turn it on .

any thoughts ?

Pull the battery or least disconnect it. Charge it for at least 24 hours and then load test it. 12.6 resting voltage is pretty wimpy.
