Headlamp left/right drive adjustment

Headlamp left/right drive adjustment
Going to take a 2005 M-Class to continent for couple of weeks and need to change headlight alignment as will be driving on 'wrong' side of road.
Dealer cannot advise how to do this without plugging in & running diagnostics to work out what headlamps are fitted (what?!?!).
Lamps are standard 2005 fit - halogens, clear outer lenses with round 'interior' lens. Dealer also suggested tape on clear part of lens (that would be the entire light then, suppose that would stop others being dazzled).
Surely this isn't that tricky?

RE: Headlamp left/right drive adjustment
Hello. Did either of you get an answer on this? I need to do the same for a 2001 C-class Estate. I guess the lamps are similar, if one doesn't have the Xenons.
I've just rung the dealer and they've told me that there is a metal "flip"-switch on the back of the headlamp - similar to those on BMWs if you're at all familiar. Will have to give it a go.
