Default Gunk on my passenger side window??

I have an 01 ML430 Sport and everytime I roll the passenger side window down it comes back up with grease ?? on it. It doesn't apprear to be a difficult fix, but I'm not exactly sure how to get the panel off. I assume it just has those placstic holders that are shaped like a point. I thought I'd just ask for anyone who has tken one off if there are any tips. I tried to pull from the bottom, and it really didn't seem to move much and I didn't want to break it, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks David

Screw behind grab handle, screw behind air bag label, door clips all the way around. The grease is brobably the sound dedning on the outer door skin peeling off and resting on the window.

Was able to get the door panel off and it was the insulation. Pulled it off and discarded it. Thanks for the help
