CEL

1999 ML320. Car was randomly shutting itself off after running for awhile. Replaced the fuel pump and the symptom still persists. I scanned the obd and got an emission fault, but otherwise fine. Any ideas?

Has the crankshaft position sensor (cps) ever been replaced? Do a google search....lots of info on this subject in several forums.
