Does anyone know where the antenna is located on the 09 ML320 Blutec? I had the recall work done last Friday that replaces the seals around the tail lights and relocates the motor that operates the rear door and now I don't have the AM band. Any chance the antenna is located in the back underneath near the motor for the rear door?

not totally sure but probably located someplace around the rear windows or the headliner area. i would take it back and let them know now about the issue.

 

On my older model, antenna is part of the rear hatch windshield and ampifier for it is mounted next to the lock. Paint has to be cleaned off from under the screws connecting amp and ground to chassis or they unpluged your antenna wire from amplifier. Bad ground (negative) was common problem for AM reception on W163 chassis per oem Star Manual.
