I was towing a trailer today and I saw a mist of oil on the front of my trailer. It looked light brown...motor oil. Checked fluids all ok.
had oil change 2 weeks ago
cleaned off trailer and drove 10 mile futher. checked front of trailer again. only small amount of oil.
is there any history of this model developing seal leaks
144K miles.
New transmission 50K miles ago.

The oil is coming from the exhaust.

 

please explain. i have oil residue on the right side of the running boards and on the entire back of the lift gate.
