ML 430 FUEL TANK LEAK !!!
Hi Guys,
Well i have just signed up to this forum in the hope thatsomeone may be able toadvise me, on a problem with my ML430..i have sustained a fuel leak,however i am not sure whether this is the tank that is the problem,or the hose/pipe that is the culprit ?
On inspecting the area i cannot see any hoses or pipes within that area,however i have noticed the leak only happens when the vehicle is running.... ?
If anyone has experienced a similar problem,or has any advice i would be very grateful...

Do you smell the fuel in the car?? The fuel pump is mounted above the tank. The only way to get to it is by removing the left rear seat and prying up the carpet. Is the smell stronger below the rear seat??
