I was told that due to the diesel and DEF tank the hitch is different from an ml350.

Interesting, I cannot verify this - seems odd, as the cars are configured exactly identical with the only difference being what's under the hood.

Check with your local u haul dealer that installs hitches I had mine done at mine their.

You can also get the original o.e. parts from this place if you can install it yourself or maybe have someone do it for you.

There are no after market ML250 diesel hitches.
Ml 350 hitches will not fit an ML 250. The DEF tank and other diesel exhaiust component are in teh way.
The dealer told me its about 6 hours labor alone. Sorry but yours will not work. Thank you for offering.
