Default 2015 ML 250 trailer hitch

Hey Everyone! I purchased a 2015 ML 250 and want to get a hitch added. The dealer wants around $1,800, which seems steep. I cannot find much aftermarket. Any suggestions?

Mike

Hello and welcome to the forum! There seems to be a ton of options. Search 2015 ML350 trailer hitch (same exact model) in Google. Amazon has some for a less than $250.

I was told that due to the diesel and DEF tank the hitch is different from an ml350.

Interesting, I cannot verify this - seems odd, as the cars are configured exactly identical with the only difference being what's under the hood.

You can also get the original o.e. parts from this place if you can install it yourself or maybe have someone do it for you.

Ml 350 hitches will not fit an ML 250. The DEF tank and other diesel exhaiust component are in teh way.
The dealer told me its about 6 hours labor alone. Sorry but yours will not work. Thank you for offering.
