2000 ml430 DTC says TCM shut off, will not crank.
For a few weeks the torque converter seemed to be having some issues. Dies after warmup when shifting to R or D, unless I give it some gas when shifting. Then the other day, there I am in a long line of cars, waiting, go 20 ft, stop, wait..... for 45 minutes. The last 20 minutes of running, I had to press the brake pedal to the floor in order to keep the truck from lurching forward into the car in front if me. The all of the sudden the truck dies like a 16 year old driving a stick for the first time. I turn the key again, all I get is lights on the dash, but no attempt to crank, whatsoever. I have it towed home, plug in my tester and only code I get is P0700 transmission control module. Most recent repair was replacement of the transmission conductor plate, about 1 month and 1500 miles prior to this issue. Any
