I have a 99 ML320 and is has just passed 100,000 miles. What service does Mercedes recommend for the vehicle at this time? If you ask the dealership they recommend about $1000.00 worth of stuff. Is this really necessary????

 

I am not really sure about mercedes service. Just make sure it's not a bunch of "check this, check that, make sure this and that" most of other dealerships just charge you for checking stuff in your car, but if something needs to be replaced, it is a different charge. Again, I have never seen merceded 100K service, so I cannot be absolutely sure. Just make sure they actually do something for $1000.

 

i think at 100,000 the maintenance schedule suggests

- fuel filter

- spark plugs.

- oil change

thats about a thousand dollars if the dealer does it. $200 if you do it.
