Default HELP! Can snow cause electrical problems?

I am a first-time Mercedes owner.it snowed here recently and I decided to drive my other vehicle I did not clear off the Mercedes. after the snow melted and about a week later I tried to start my Mercedes and it does start but will not shift to drive it seems that the electrical system is having problems because the navigation screen stays off and several warning messages come up on dashboard saying things are inactive. Did the snow cause this is that possible what do I do?
