Default Wiper Blades

Hello All,

On my E320 2003 model wiper blades are squeaking when I turn them on. How do I fix this problem? Can I clean them with any type of lubrication? If yes what type should I use?

Thanks

Clean them with a cloth wetted with iso alcohol. Then clean the windshield with some paper towels and the same alcohol, purchased in the pharm section of any grocery store.

one suggestion to add is to purchase a can of spray silicone, < $10. apply to rag and wipe
onto blade in see-saw fashion. lubricates the rubber, like moisturizer. after sitting outside
in wide extreme of weather, rubber deteriorates over time, oxidizes, gets hard.....the Park
position tends to polarize the blade into a biased angle....usually causing it to squeek or
chatter when on the upstroke.
