E Class 280 W211, year 2007
I was about to replace the factory fitted radio today and once I had removed the centre consol, cd multi changer etc it dawned on me that the airbag wires/socket were there and needed to be pulled out. I then wondered if the airbag unit would detect a voltage drop and activate? Would it? Or should I just disconnect the battery? But I then wondered if there was an auxiliary power supply that the airbag may have access to?
I may be overthinking this lol.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
