Hi everyone, will 16 x 7.5 ET 51 wheels fit a 1991 190e without the need for spacers etc.? any help much appreciated. Thanks, Jane.</P>

there shouldnt be a problem. it would only depend on backspacing of the rim

The ET number you have posted is the offset of the rim. I seriously doubt a 51mm offset will work on your 190. You'll encounter rubbing on the shock and other suspension components.</P>


A common offset for mercedes in the after market wheel dept. is anywhere from 41 to 35.</P>

backspacing and offset are the same terms in case I didn't explain that clear enough. The higher the ET number the more the wheel will set in towards the car. The lower the number the more it will bring the wheel out towards the fender lip. Take a look at my pictures I've posted under the photo section. The silver C230 is my wifes car and the wheels I put on it are 16x7.5 ET35. If you have any more questions please let me know.
