W211 2007 2.8L E-class estate airmatic suspension
My rear airmatic suspension is acting oddly. Initially, when stopping the engine the vehicle dropped on one side at the rear, then settled completely, but fully activated to a full pressurised rise when starting the engine. I discounted the air pump, as this seemed OK and always raised the car when required. I thought I might have a leak in the airbag, but just recently the vehicle will now stay up on full raised air suspension for days without descending, so a leak seems unlikely. It appears to be part of the airmatic cycling system that is at fault, possibly the valve air damping housing, but I'm not sure.
Anyone have any ideas?
